Saree Blouse

"I just adored my time working at the tailor shop during my internship. I hold no regrets whatsoever becoming an intern there because the experience that i attained was immaculate. I have always admired the Indian culture but Interning at Saree Blouse Shop has inspired me, not only to be proud of the strength and diversity of my culture, but to also explore the depth of such a beautiful heritage and way of life. To me, the Indian culture has an aesthetic that is truly distinctive and unparalleled to any other. When it is incorporated and infused into fashion, the designs and creations just come to life and I love how we are able to inculcate and inspire others about the culture just by a simple piece of fabric! I find it fascinating how the saree blouse molds the slopes and curves of the body and holds its place while the person moves. These are a few pictures that I have been advised to experiment with by my Director so that I can familiarise myself with the processes before I take on customer's orders. "  - Nur Aisyah , Designer.
