HATI RINDU

HATI RINDU  is a ready-to-wear design that is focused on the flowy texture of the fabric. To me, it symbolizes fluidity.  Similar to water, always finds its way back to the ocean no matter how many obstacles stand in its way. Drawing inspiration from my grandfather, whose warm aura and admirable attitude showed me how to inculcate inclusivity in finding methods and solutions for every situation no matter what may lie in the way.

 

The silhouette of my design was inspired by his gift and talent in the arts. To all intents and purposes, my collection, HATI RINDU is dedicated to the memory of my revered grandfather whom I remember vividly. The fabric I chose was light, with a pintuck folding technique and sequin embellishments for the finishing. The blue lines and pleats with shine mimic the movement of water. The color white represents susceptibility to change and many aspects of his nature and it is prominently featured in my designs. The numerous possibilities it holds provides vast variation to be explored and utilized. White epitomizes the ability to broaden the mind and be willing to think deep and wide so as to achieve a more colorful perspective of life. HATI RINDU is for the fashion conscious and hodophile adults.

Inspired from my childhood memories, Hati Rindu reminds me of a time where life was paced a little slower and days spent watching the sunset at the beach dreaming of what lies ahead were a common occurrence. - Nur Aisyah, Designer.
